Major League Baseball Opening Week Schedules
The Oakland Athletics and Seattle Mariners opened the Major League Baseball regular season with a series in Japan. The regular season starts for real April 4 when the World Series champion St. Louis Cardinals christen the new stadium of the Miami Marlins on national television. Other teams get going the next day.
