Mariners' loss has familiar ring to it
TOKYO – Euphoric after a rousing victory in the season opener, the Seattle Mariners crashed hard Thursday, reverting to the feeble offense that marked the past two seasons, while the bullpen allowed a cascade of long balls in a 4-1 loss to the Oakland Athletics at the Tokyo Dome.
